Rebecca is a regular literary critic for the Financial Times. A freelance journalist for over three decades, her features, profiles and book reviews have appeared in most of the UK’s leading newspapers and journals, including the Guardian, New Statesman, Sunday Times and Observer.

She is the recipient of an Amnesty International Press Award, a former columnist and feature writer for the Daily Telegraph, worked as a feature writer and commissioning editor for Vogue and the Daily Mail, and as a radio producer and programme presenter for the BBC in the UK and in Switzerland.
